Heya! I stayed home all day, so nothing really special happened today...well except the fact Lethal Wepon is on!!!!!
Anyway, what has happened? I stayed in bed until 3PM. My mom came in and asked: "Are you going to stay bed all day missy, It's past 3PM already." I wasn't really sleeping that long. I just stay in bed, with my eyes closed and usually think of my stories. Recently I have thought about a new one but I don't want to write it. Mainly because I already have stories to work on.
My mom announced today that she and dad will go to a trip along the lake of Peipsi to visit our family friends. Two of them have birthdays, so I decided, since I wasn't going, to make them both birthday cards. Yuki told me that they came out great, even perfect, but I think she is just being nice. But I'll let you be the judge of that...
What else did I do today? Nothing really. Inside there is "Happy birthday!" in Korean and Estonian. Oh, I watched 3 movies today. First was "The Avatar: The Last Airbender" then "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" and the last but not least "Freaky Friday". Oh wait! I just saw "Lethal Weapon" too. So make it four movies today xD
I didn't get to the cleaning, I didn't study any Korean nor I didn't do the Art History research but the last wasn't my laziness. The library is closed on Sundays.
Anyways, starting tomorrow I will be home alone! But Yuki invited me over. We will watch Damon and Kathrine in action. Well, please don't think to the left or something. I don't mean it in a dirty way. I just wanted to say we'll watch "Vampire Diaries" ^^
Well, I'll write some Korean and then hit the sack ^^
I can't just stop here. I would be the shortest post ever made. Oh, I forgot something! Today, 24.07.2011, I got my mom to read my story. She has never read one of them so I was really excited about it and she only said two things about it - 1. she could never write something like that and 2. too bad you didn't got that kiss (the story is written so-to-say through my eyes). Like what?! Techincally she didn't say anything about the plot which really pisses me off a little but okay, I'll try to survive.
So, I thought I'll translate you the first lines of it :)
„Hello,“ I said to the fun waitress, when we entered the Dragon.
„Welcome,“ she replied with a dazzling smile.
„We are looking for a chef, who can make Korean foods for an event. We are trying to plan a similar event to those culture days in Tallinn but with less crowd and without reformation.”
She smiled politely: “Then you should talk to Kim Sunghyun about this.”
“Who?” I didn’t get right away. She smiled again. There were only 2 reasons she kept doing that – one she was overly-happy person or she was just trying to be polite – but it slowly started to bug me. How can someone smile so much, is beyond me.
“Our chef’s name is Kim Sunghyun. He’s Korean.” Korean in an Asian kitchen – that was a surprise. I thought we would find an Estonian or Russian who just shares the same interest. Before I could say anything, the girl yelled towards the kitchen: “Sung-oppa!” The waitress smiled again and added: “There is someone here for you,” and said to us, with a normal voice, „he has studied a little Estonian but still prefers to talk in English.“
In the exact moment, she finished, a dark haired man walked outside of those closed doors. He was drying his fingers to a dish rag. I heard how Kaili shriek behind me.
„ What can I do for you,” said Sunghyun and threw the towel over his shoulder.
„Hey, I'm Kristiina and this is Kaili,” I started „We want to organize a Korean day in Viljandi and we were hoping that we can provide some Korean cuisine also.”
He was looking at me and nodded slightly when I spoke. Did it meant, he was interested or he just listened out of politeness?
„Oh, I see,” he said eventually.
„So,” I said, drawing out, „are you interested? Or are you worried about the pay first?”
Sung snorted to laugh. „Oh, the money? The most important thing.”
„Kind of,” I smiled, „We are on a budget.”
To that he remind silent and stared in the front. I didn’t quite catch what he was looking at – was it me or Kaili or somewhere else, far away. The atmosphere was getting awkward, so I changed the leg, I was leaning on. I badly wanted to cross my arms but I would have seen too demanding.
„Well,” he said finally, „I'll think about it and then I'll call you.”
„Okay then,” I said and wanted to dash away but then I remembered a small detail – where would he call if he didn’t have my number? It seemed that his mind wondered the same direction. „Your number?” he asked politely, slightly raising his eyebrows.
I looked towards Kaili, who handed me her notebook. I hastily scribbled my number on it and also added my name, in capital letters, so it would be more readable. I tore out the page and handed it to Sunghyun who carefully folded it to two and put it into his jeans’ pocket which was hidden under the apron.
„Looking forward hearing from you,” I said hastily and we almost ran out of the restaurant. Before I closed the door, I looked at him for a moment – he had his head hung and he was slightly smiling.
So, what do you think?
XOXO Natsumiiiii ^^
PS. I never got out of my PJs today xDD
