Estonia

So, I haven’t totally forgotten my blog (AGAIN), I haven’t just gotten any WIFI. Ever since Monday I have been travelling in Estonia and now, finally, on Friday, I’m home ^.^

So, on Monday afternoon (somewhere around 12), I met up with...well I was suppose to meet up with MAÜ and LO but MAÜ desided to come almost an hour later, so me and LO made a small visit to the libarary, just sat and flipped though some magazines and just caught up.
When MAÜ finally joined us, we went to Aida cafee and talked for a while.

Me :)!
That's MAÜ in the left and LO in the right ^.^

I ordered a green salad with chiken (MAÜ had the same) and a Lattee. It tasted good, so I was satified – money spent good ^.^

mmm...delicious ^.^

mouth-watering...

MAÜ finally gave us presents what were meant after graduation, but she added something she bought from Barcelona. We both got a lollipop, some candy and some chocolate covered raisins and a pair of earrings. I got REALLY colorful ones, which I absolutely love, and LO got some modest ones. MAÜ said that she choose them according to our personality XDD
My little pink box and in the background there is LO's (+ you can see LO's lunch XDD)
And the insides - there is a quote from "The Picture of Dorian Grey" , MAÜ knows me so well (for those who don't know, it's my favorite book ^.^)

Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.

Later we went to my place where I half packed my bag and half entertained the guests. LO constantly told that they should get a move on but to me they weren’t a bother and MAÜ felt rather comfortable also but somewhere around 4PM they left and me and my parent drove off to Tartu, our first stop.

In Tartu there lives my greataunt’s daughter KK (mother’s side). I haven’t seen her since my 9th grade graduation (I bought the dress in Tartu). I didn’t knew much about her and her family, so I did a little research.
She has a daughter and 2 sons (that much I knew XD). The eldest is the the daughter and she is 23 and goes to school in Viljandi. She is so close and still I haven’t seen her for years...maybe 10. The oldest son is two years older that I am, 21, and restores furniture and the youngest is only 3,5 years old. The boys still live with her. KK herself is as old as my mom, so it’s rather easy to remember, and she is a great woman - so cheerful and smart and seems like she really cares ^.^ We talked about about our family reunion. Last time I saw the whole family (my mom’s grandpa’s family) was when I was about 9 or so. So, it has been about 10 years (again).
My grandpa had 5 brothers and a sister (the youngest of the family) but only two of 7 siblings are alive (1 sister and 1 brother, but not my grandpa) but there is this whole generation I’m unaware of. Of course, I know my mother’s siblings, my aunt and my uncle + the eldest son’s only daughter LZ + the sister’s daughter KK + one of the brother’s son AR, and that’s about it. As for other 6, I only know the name and MAYBE occupation. Also, I’m completely unaware of my generation.
And why I want to know/see all of them?
Well, I want to recognize my relative when I rant into her/him and also it’s nice to know who your family is. Of couse I won’t start talking to them every single time but at least I’m in the neighbourhood, I can drop by and maybe they can become useful one day...you’ll never know ^.^

Anyways, that night we went to my mother’s university classmate (don’t know a better word for it XDD). We are rather close to her and her family. She and her daughter LT (I need to come up with better nicknames, I think there is LT already but let’s go with that XD) came to my graduation. And brought me these really nice earrings and it was so good to see them and nice of them to make the trip when they live pretty far ^.^
When we arrived they started to offer food but we had kind of already eaten, KK made pancakes for us ^.^ but I didn’t get much of a chance to eat anyways XD When I sat there and listen to the elders, LT came to me and said that we are going out XD Just like that, no explanations or other comments but as we drove to out destination, she told me that we were going to meet up with her high school friends. She warned me that they will talk about people that I wouln’t probably know, and they did, but they were all so nice and they gave me funny summarizes of the people. That night I had a milkshake with pepermint and coffee ilqour and it was delicious. We sat there for about 4 hours and I had fun although LT thought that I will be bored to tears but it would be better that listen to old people talk  ^.^ LT is 23 years old and just graduated from 2 different schools at the same time. I really admire her. She is an art student and a really talented artist but at the moment she is restoring a room somewhere in Tartu ( I don’t remember the street where it was). Two of her friends were really mesmerizing? XD Anyways, one of them was a....badass XDD She sat next to me and really gave good summaries of people. The other one told great stories. Maybe not the story itself wasn’t that good but the way she told them, kind of funny XDD The two other that were there, didn’t say much but they were exactly like LT described them – 2 blabbermouths and 2 silent ones, and one of them had the same name as I do, Kristiina. Yeah, I had a fun night.
When we got back, my night took a turn – I had forgotten a bag which held almost all of my make-up and a container for my lenses (luckily I had put the solution into another place) and my tooth brush and the paste and the zit cream (I got one on Wendsday night, so I kind of needed it) and my eye cream...DISASTER! As for the lenses, luckily, LT had a container, so I could get one from her and the makeup I got from my mom (eye liner, mascara) but I needed to get at least an eyebrow pencil and an eye cream (I tend to have dark circles under my eyes and thanks to the eye cream they have gotten better).
So, the next day me and my mom and my dad and LT’s mom (the classmate) went to the stores in Tartu.

I got a really good eyebrow pencil, the other one just did the job, and really smoothing eye cream, and do you really think I just bought them? XDD From the same store, we got...how to say this...they are kind of bandaids for the nose and the chin and the forehear to clear out blackheads and other nasty stuff. I once got it in Viljandi but lately I hadn’t seen it, so I had to bought it when I saw it.
I also finally used my gift certificates which I got from the mayor of Viljandi for being a diligent student. They were both fot this bookstore chain (there is a store in Viljandi but the selection wasn’t that great).

I really wanted to buy mangas for that  (I have Vampire Knight’s vol 1) but in Rahva Raamat there wasn’t any of that. There was this other manga, which I don’t remember the name, so, I got my vol 2 and 3 from Apollo ^.^ And also I got a book that translates from Estonian to Finnish and the other way around...

My mom bought some jarn and that’s about it. Not a big shopping trip but still something.

After that we drove to see my grand-unkle’s daughter LZ. I have seen her more often than KK because every time we drive to Jõhvi (that’s where my mom is from) or Sõmeru (that’s where my grandmother’s brother and his wife lives) we drive right past her summer home (now permanent residence). She is a teacher just like my mom but a bit older than she is. We ate some delicious cake and drank coffee – a nice and quiet afternoon.

Later we head of to my mother’s another university classmate (there is one more later on XD) who has two sons. Like I found out, the younger one was in the 8th grade and on September 1st starts 9th grade and other one is 1 or 2 years older than I am.
Seems like both of them have/had a thing for me. With the older we talked one year until he said „you have beautiful eyes“. Well, it’s threw me off guard and I said something...and let’s just say he doesn’t take rejection easily and when I’m there, I hardly exist.
But the younger one....is taller than me now (I feel like a shrimp) and has discovered girls. He served me hand and foot and when my mom and her mom started talking about school (both teachers of course), he sat next to me and told me how great and wonderful he is – how smart and popular and so on and so forth. Yeah....boys...Well, other than that, the food was great and my mom had a great time ^.^
Some time me and my dad washed the car a little and Yuki called. Man, I already missed her – it was good to hear her rambling XDD No offence, Yuki! I asked her to bring my Oriflame package, since I didn’t got the chance, and my e-mail. I finally got a letter from the manager of the dorm I will be moving in soon :)

After that we drove to Jõhvi and to my uncle’s home. We have seen him more often this year than for the past 10 years...well, death usually brings people together and since there is an aprtment to clean up, it gives us a good reason to get together ^.^
He told me that when I want to get on a bus, I have to wave my hand in oder to get the bus to stop...is that really true?
Anyways, we didn’t stay long because it was getting pretty late (my mom took her time in the last visit).

We stayed in my grandpa’s old apartment – it was kind of depressing to stay there at first but I have kind of gotten used to it and besides, it’s not the same as it was when my grandpa died. A lot has been thrown out and it’s much cleaner and different.
My dad hates that there is no TV, so he listens to radio a lot. He also hears it at home too but not 24/7 like he does there and my mom cleans all the time and looks though cabinets and stuff. What I do? Nothing...well, I finally got „Blood Ties“ last book, so this time I read that. It’s very thrilling  I have to say and in this part there is some gey action...and as I flipped through it, I saw that Cyrus was alive again. Like WHAT THE HELL? That man just doesn’t die (not that I want him to die, he is one of my favorites ^.^). At the end of the first book Carrie killed him (or was it in the next one...details) and then his dad brought him back to life than he was a human, then in oder to save him, he was turned back to a vampire, than he died again and now his back to life, so it seems. I have no idea whether as a vampire or a mortal but either way back in this world

My mom found this cute picture...

Guess who is this?
This is my mom when she was about 4 or so. I really look like her ^.^ When I see her now I don't really see the resembles but my mom "comforted" me that I won't stay always the same...thanks mom!

The next morning we went to the stores, where I finally got my tooth brush -.- little stores just don’t have a tooth brush, like what the hell and it was torture anyways, that day we went to my mom’s last university classmate. She picked us up near my grandpa’s apartment (now belongs to my mom, aunt and uncle) and drove us to her summee cottage in Toila.
I saw that woman for the first time. Her husband later told us that he saw me after I was born. Yeah, of course I membered him -.- Anyways, that woman, MR (familiar initials -.-), had a...well for me, interesting job. She is a development manager in TTÜ Virumaa college. She told us how she wrote different poject, maybe not so needed. I’m really interested how projects and proposal are written, a freak right XD? There we had delicious meat and fresh peas from the chells...I’m not usually a fan of peas but I love to eat them from the chells ^.^ Her husband is...I think I can say a druk driver like my uncle. And as it turned out they are colleagues, what a coinky dink XDD
They have 3 sons – I didn’t see one of them. The older was 21 years old and in the college where his mother is working, the next one is 17 and starts learning TV-communications in September (he tried to study in a high school but wasn’t for him) and the youngest is only 12 and, of course, goes to school.
When we got back to the apartment, we met up with my uncle, his wife and daughter. They helped us to clean up the apatment even more and finally put the cupboard back in the bath  room and it was sure an hassle. I don’t know why but during that visit my mother’s brother felt like an uncle, not just some stranger who happens to share the same blood as I. We ate candy together, I helped him out – communicated ^.^.

That night was one of the few where I slept good XD Yeah, there is nothing like my own bed and room. And I missed my Jungshin (my teddy bear of course XDD) but I didn’t got to sleep long – we had to drive to our last stop before finally going home. The last destination was Sõmeru. It was great to see my great aunt and uncle. When we arrived, she made reheated fish for us and after lunch we sat on the stairs and caught up. Later on mom and my great aunt and uncle went to his mother’s grave (to me great grandmother ^.^), me and my dad stayed home. He wanted to wash the car and I wanted to get a start on with my blog but I didn’t get to focus on it 100% since my aunt took in a new dog, Suzy or Suzanna. She is an hyper active dog and I found out that I don’t have much of a throwing hand XDD Everytime I tried to get back to writing this, she sneaked out behind me and rubbed to ball against my back in order to get my attention. My had got really tired but yeah, her energy was contaigious XDD I wondered whether I was playing with her or she was playing with me XDD

Suuuuuuuuuuuuzy ^.^ with her precious XD
And there is also this realllllly cute kitty-cat ^.^

Either way, I had fun. After dinner, we just had a little quiet time and soon went to bed ^.^ And I saw three different dreams that night and in one of those dreams I told TT about another dream...confusing, I know XD Other than that, it is very relaxing to stay at Sõmeru. My aunt has this huge garden with like 100 different flowers and trees and there are strawberries and raspberries and other things you can grow...anyway, I got to pick strawberries and the sun was burning my back - it wasn't pretty XD

Somewhere around 2PM we packed up our stuff and head home.Of course we had a lunch break somewhere on the road.
It was so good to come to my messy room, I really missed it ^.^

So, my lovelies, this has to be the longest post I have written XD And I seriously congratulate you when you have finished it!
Sweet dreams ^.^

XOXO Natsumiiiii ^^
